Full Job Description

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual for the post of Apprentice Teaching Assistant from September 2024. If you are self-motivated, keen and willing to learn and have the enthusiasm to support pupils to meet their full potential both socially and academically we encourage you to apply.

The successful candidate will work towards the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, which includes a Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning. The school will support in house-training, research for assignments, shadowing and mentoring during which you will complete the qualification with an external training provider through East Riding of Yorkshire Council. All the training will be delivered within the school and you will have guidance and support to complete on the job learning throughout the qualification.

This will be an opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning in a primary school setting.

The post is for 16.25hours per week, 12:15 to 3:30, term time only.
