Full Job Description
- Oversee full P&L accountability, strategically balancing revenue generation and cost management to achieve financial targets.
- Formulate growth strategies and initiatives by leveraging data analysis to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities within each practice.
- Promptly address performance gaps, implementing effective solutions to drive improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical and recruitment teams to ensure timely fulfillment of Associate vacancies.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal departments to support operational KPI achievement across practices.
- Provide proactive leadership, training, and guidance to teams, addressing underperformance promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and support the professional development of practice managers.
- Work with Clinical teams to enhance engagement and drive growth.
- Partner with the People & Culture team to uphold integrity, manage employee relations, and cultivate a supportive work environment.
- Ensure thorough induction and probation management for practice support staff.
- Maintain Health & Safety compliance and manage incidents with support from the compliance team.
- Act as a CQC Registered secondary Manager for the area, striving for "Good" or above ratings for all practices.
- Continuously improve quality indicators and CQC compliance across practices, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Address patient complaints promptly, implementing necessary changes and fostering a culture of learning.
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing remote teams, preferably in Dentistry or Healthcare. - Confidence in P&L management (training provided if needed).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
- A passion for people development and commitment to excellence.
- Deep understanding of quality improvement and clinical governance principles.
- Familiarity with dentistry systems (SOE/SFD).
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent work experience.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility for out-of-hours meetings
