Full Job Description

  • Create and maintain reports, provide analysis for the management team and ensure robust financial controls are in line with SOX compliance standards

  • Lead, manage and coach a small team of finance assistants to achieve expectations - you will bring the team together ensuring everyone is working towards a common goal, in order to service multiple contracts for M&S onsite

  • You will be responsible for the management accounts, ensuring they are produced to the appropriate standard and providing support to the finance assistants where necessary

  • Ownership of the month end process including balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring adequate controls are in place

  • Experience in producing financial reports and analysis with meaningful commentary

  • Experience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Be an effective influencer and communicator, able to positively engage, challenge and empower others

  • AAT Level 4 or equivalent as a minimum, consideration will be given to substantial QBE

    This role is being offered on a full-time, 12month fixed term basis. The hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Your start time is flexible between 08:00 and 09:00 to suit you, there is also some flexibility to work from home 1 day per week once you are established within the role., You'll be paid a salary of up to £38,000 per annum, you'll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance.
