Full Job Description

As the Assistant Management Accountant you will be supporting the finance team with month end processes, running reports and various administration tasks.,

  • Support the Management Accounts team with month-end processes including accruals and prepayments within the ERP system (IFS).

  • Assist with the monthly review of all designated overhead costs, including the investigation of variances against forecasts.
  • Support the Management accountant with forecasts reviews every quarter.

  • Support the Financial Accountant with Inventory reporting.

  • Uploading reports required for internal controls within the finance team and assistance with external auditors.

  • Support the Management Accounts team with capital expenditure administration.

  • Developing relationships with staff across the business to provide information and support as required throughout the month.

  • Completing various National Statistics Reports and maintaining the file.

  • Support the Management Accountant with the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, Including maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.

  • Ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager/ Financial Controller.

    We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our Finance team in Wimborne as an Assistant Management Accountant. We are offering this position on a full-time basis, working on a hybrid basis., Final stages of AAT studying (Passed Level 3).

  • Used to using own initiative when attempting to resolve issues.

  • Good Excel skills, including data analysis.

  • Experience of preparing month end accounts with an integrated accounts package such as IFS or SAP would be advantageous.

  • Flexibility to meet the business needs and deadlines for the role.
