Bakery Operative Trainee

We are seeking an individual to come and learn to be a Bakery operative to join our team. As a Trainee Bakery Assistant, you will assist in the production of baked goods. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious baked goods.

Duties to learn all of the below:
- Assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, or other toppings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately, Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
