Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Block Cleaner to join the Housing and Neighbourhoods Service within Sheffield City Council. You will be responsible in making sure that residents' communal areas/stairwells are maintained and kept clean and tidy.

Are you highly motivated, enthusiastic person who can work within a Team as well as individually? Have a willingness to learn and a flexible approach to work tasks.

It will involve working within maisonettes and blocks of flats, using a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure the communal areas/ stairwells are cleaned and maintained to Sheffield City Council Standards.

Training will be provided where necessary.

If appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
