Care Home Admissions Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join us as our "Head of Admissions" for Highgate Care. The successful applicant will be the single point of contact for the Discharge Teams across all regions where we operate our care homes: North-East, North, East & South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. You will need to be confident in both verbal and written communication and able to work on your own initiative. You will arrange hospital and community assessments, confirm the outcome of assessments with commissioners, organise/agree funding as per company fee structure and confirm admission dates with our Home Managers and the relatives of potential residents. You will also have responsibility to keep our data systems up to date in relation to enquiries and assessments.

This role would suit someone who has a care/nursing background who understands how care home placements are funded. Experience with enquiry, admissions and funding process for care home placement.
