Carpenter - Improver

We are seeking a carpenter improver to join our team. As a Carpenter improver, you will be partnered with a carpenter undertaking 1st fix carpentry works on a New Build construction site.

Do not worry if you don't have much confidence or experience - this is a training role and will be taught methods as you are working.

Duties:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials
- Construct and install frameworks, including Stud Partitions, Joists & deck and roofs
- Installation of Stairs, Front entrance doors, window boards and Canopies

Proven experience as a Carpenter improver/apprentice
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Some knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings (desirable but not needed)
- attention to detail
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
- Good communication skills

CSCS card is not needed for this specific site but may be needed if moved sites so is desirable
