Mission: The Category Buyer is in charge of different categories, for UK plants. You will be in charge of the negotiation, definition of the strategy, suppliers' selection, lead the relationship with the suppliers, support the design change, manage / support the shortages., In touch with the procurement organization, local management in UK to catch up the possible opportunities, Change of Suppliers actions, you will have central role to boost & support the plant.
Accountable for its procurement performance by managing suppliers while supporting the plants procurement execution.
Lead either directly the supplier relationship with local suppliers or through global category management for strategic suppliers.
Participate to global negotiations and lead the negotiations with local suppliers together with Regional Category Manager in EMEA.

# Autonomous & capable to have helicopter view.
# Competence in using Microsoft Office software, in particular Excel.
# Competence to use SAP.
Education
# Master's degree - linked with Purchasing & Supply Chain
# PhD / MBA
# University Degree - linked with Purchasing & Supply Chain.
