Full Job Description

The role of Client Manager is to build relationships with clients and to have direct responsibility of client portfolios. They are responsible for the delivery of an outstanding service to clients. They should drive an organisational culture where people are strongly connected to Xeinadin's vision, mission and values. In this role, you will work within a well-established team, providing high-quality accounting and financial services to our diverse range of clients., As a Client Manager, your responsibilities will include

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, leading client meetings and advising.

  • Review Accounts and Tax Returns to ensure they meet HMRC Companies House standards and deadlines.

  • Train and monitor performance of juniors to ensure standards compliance and service are maintained.

  • Attend and conduct client meetings/Prepare meeting notes and complete related tasks.

  • Completing company secretarial tasks, including CS01's, company formations, ad-hoc forms.

  • Monitor deadlines for all jobs, management accounts and VAT return preparation/review to advise clients on current performance and forecasting.

  • Tax planning for clients, including remuneration strategy, pension contributions, capital assets, etc.

  • Regular contact with clients to discuss routine queries, any issues and opportunities.

  • Provide bespoke cloud solutions and training for clients.

  • Implement business development strategies, using Xero, QuickBooks, Dext and bespoke Apps.

  • Attendance of off-site meetings, courses and events as required.

  • Mentor team, providing feedback, training, and support to ensure accurate, efficient, and profitable service.

    ACCA or ACA qualified

  • Tax - CTA desirable but not mandatory.


  • Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and application of current UK accounting standards, tax legislation, technical issues and related matters, and updates team on new developments and standards.

  • Commercial, detailed, analytical, driven, ethical, engaging, honest, decisive, professional, confident, organised, strategic.

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and ability to learn and use bookkeeping packages such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc.

  • A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, demonstrating strong professionalism, credibility, and confidence.
