Full Job Description

As a Security Consultant, you will provide subject expertise and support to the University's project teams, drawing from a strong technical background in range of IT disciplines. You will be developing, delivering, and embedding strategies and solutions that protect the University's systems, applications, and data. Establishing policies, practices and tools that prevent unauthorised access, use, disclosure, modification, or disruption by a means of accurate architectures and effective stakeholder engagement. You will promote and ensure that security is integrated into every phase of the projects and operations, from design through to testing, deployment, and delivery.

Grade 8 (£45,585 - £54,395 p.a. with a discretionary range to £65,274 p.a., depending on experience)
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
