Full Job Description

Humberside Police are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Insight Manager to join their team to lead the design, development and management of our performance management information and demand management service.
The successful candidate will utilise software solutions and technology to optimise our processes and align them with digital innovation.

Apply now and become our Data Insight Manager!, Responsible for the accurate collection, analysis and reporting of performance data and work in conjunction with key stakeholders and performance and demand staff. Ensure that the capture and the analysis of data from IT systems is complete and comprehensive in automated formats accessible to staff and service users and influence senior leaders in the application of performance and demand information to inform strategic and local decision-making.
Works closely with the Change and CI Manager and Strategic Planning Officer to ensure that rigorous and effective performance management processes are aligned to strategic planning framework, including directly influencing priorities and measures in Command and Departmental Plans and inform the development of the Force Change and Efficiency Review programme to support continuous improvement at a Force and local level.
To lead the design, development, management and continuous improvement of the Force approach to delivering effective, accurate and timely performance management information, people management information and demand management services, ensuring that this is optimised through the appropriate use of software solutions/ technology and linked with Digital Innovation.
To lead on the development and ongoing management information and analysis in relation to the Force's internal and external consultation and engagement mechanisms, including ownership of the Force Confidence and Satisfaction Strategy, to ensure they meet existing and future requirements and are effectively applied by Senior Leaders to inform strategic and local decision-making.
To attend relevant meetings both internal and external, representing the Force as necessary directly contributing to effective decision-making at a strategic and local level.
To ensure the timeliness and quality of all statutory returns to the Home Office, HMICFRS and other governing bodies and for ensuring systems are in place for generating and constructing statutory performance indicators which satisfy the requirements of external auditors.

A Degree in Statistics or comparable qualification / work experience.
Possess a comprehensive and contemporary knowledge of statistical analysis.
Extensive experience in data analysis and performance management
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Experience in the design and delivery of innovative IS solutions to the design and development of performance management and demand management/ forecasting processes and systems.
Has developed effective data quality systems that ensure data/information provided is timely and accurate.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good leadership and proven resource management skills
