Dog Walker - Self Employed

We are seeking a reliable and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. This is a self employed role!

As a dog walker at Gracious Dogs, you'll be responsible for walking 1-2 dogs at a time, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the entire walk.

We specialize in working with dogs who may need additional training, reactive to dogs or stranger or have health problems. This means that previous experience working with dogs is necessary for this role.

You will also need your own dog-friendly car as you'll be driving between each client's location.

Duties:
- Walk dogs on a set schedule. Some dogs require only 30 minute check ins or walks. While others require 1 hour walks.
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding their pets' care. Including feeding dogs and maintaining training.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs at all times
- Clean up after dogs during walks, disposing of waste properly
- Report any concerns or issues to owners.
- Driving to individual dogs homes and to a variety of walking locations suitable for the dogs needs.

Previous experience working with dogs with special behaviour needs. Ideally 2 years experience.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with behavioral challenges
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with dog owners
- Reliable transportation to travel to various locations. Must be suitable for transporting large dogs.
- Flexibility in scheduling, as dog walking hours may shift slightly.,
