DT Food Technician

32.5 hours a week (flexible by arrangement within the school day). Term time plus 2 (40 weeks per year) to include staff training days and the annual summer camp

NJC 4 £17,910 actual salary (£23,114 FTE)

Would you like to work with lively creative colleagues making a difference to young people and supporting them to develop into talented young cooks or even future chefs. We are looking for a well organised colleague to support our food teachers. We are very proud of the excellent standards our young people achieve in food and know that with the right support all our learners can flourish. Our motto at Lynn Grove is 'put learning at the heart' and the Design Technology team make a big contribution to this.

This role would be well suited to someone who enjoys cooking, likes being with young people or someone considering a career in education. At Lynn Grove we absolutely believe in developing ourselves professionally and we will make sure that your professional development is bespoke to your individual needs. We have a track record of supporting our staff to develop professionally and a number have gone on to work in other roles in school and teacher training.
