Full Job Description

As the Facilities Officer you'll be responsible for process, analytical and administrative support to the Facilities department supporting smooth and efficient business operations. Ensuring continuous performance and maintenance of buildings and surrounding areas, providing a safe environment for all colleagues, contractors and visitors and working closely with third-party service providers to ensure repairs and maintenance work is carried out to completion.

You'll have responsibility for creating purchase orders for the team in accordance with our on-site contractors and suppliers and you'll provide support to the Facilities Manager in the daily operations of the facilities function with a focus on ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements throughout the site.

You'll be responsible for resolving billing errors, monitoring POs, and reporting financial irregularities and maintaining and filing invoices whilst ensuring accurate information is recorded and maintained for the site.

This role would be suitable for somebody who has a finance/accounts background.

You'll need to be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products, and be able to demonstrate strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. An understanding of Maximo would also be extremely beneficial.

Experience working in a facilities management environment would be advantageous and knowledge of raising purchase orders would also help in this role.

You'll need good prioritisation, co-ordination and organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
