Full Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst will have responsibility for assisting the Financial Controller and Financial Accountant to finalise the monthly and annual management accounts and statutory reporting.
Apply, Ensure car insurance documentation is kept up to date on a weekly basis
Provide weekly bank reconciliations
Provide analysis of suspense account reconciliations allowing journals to be made in the financial system
Carry out annual insurance renewal data collection
Ensure all car hire and lease documentation is kept up to date
Complete Office for National Statistics documentation in a timely manner;
Carry out nominal account reconciliations in support of the Financial Controller's month end financial reviews in a timely and accurate manner
Run month end SAGE reports as required
Liaise closely with Procurement to ensure purchase invoices are following the correct process, catching invoicing issues early;
Provide financial reports as necessary to others in the finance dept. e.g. Sales ledger to ensure a strong credit control approach is maintained by the business
Provide improvement proposals to the month-end process.

Ability to work accurately in a number of different areas at the same time, Experience of small business/financial systems;
Good working knowledge of financial accounting, double entry, account reconciliation etc.
Working in complex financial businesses;
High level of Excel knowledge / skill;
Is capable of working and influencing members of the Company with regard to implementation of processes;
