Finance Manager

A great opportunity to join a luxury retail business as Finance Manager, reporting into the Financial Controller and holding line management responsibility of 1 team member. You will lead the finance team and play a crucial role in driving continued growth. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including consolidations, reporting, budgeting, and analysis. • Lead the finance team in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including consolidated financial statements.


• Ownership of shipping taxes compliance


• Manage the monthly and annual financial closing process.


• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts


• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.


• Oversee the budgeting process and monitor actual performance against budget.


• Be the point of contact for external auditors.


• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.


• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


• Business Partner with other departments across the business to form strong relationships.
  
  Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or similar)


• Experience within retail is a benefit but not mandatory


• Experience within duties and sales taxes, VAT returns and shipping implications is beneficial, but not mandatory


• Experience in consolidations, including preparing and presenting consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.


• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, notably including GAAP.


• Excellent communication and analytical skills


• Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
