Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to lead our finance team. If successful you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting our business growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing sector and a proven track record in financial management.

At Vuba you will:

· Responsible for maintenance of accurate and timely accounting records sufficient to comply with internal and external reporting purposes

· Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities

· Oversee and check all accounting records are processed within the month-end deadline

· Oversight and responsibility for monthly reconciliation of key control accounts including all bank reconciliations

· Responsible for monthly review of Aged Debtors and Creditors and follow up outstanding balances as required

· To support the HR & Finance Director in the data gathering of financial data to enable timely completion of all statutory returns.

· Management of team - Review of work, conducting reviews, creating development plans, distribution of work, daily support.

· Any other ad hoc duties

· Good time management skills, as you may have multiple tasks happening concurrently

· Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with managers and colleagues

· Great diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify issues and effectively deal with them

· Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and to deadlines

· Experience producing management accounts

· Good organisational skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Confident with IT, especially Excel and any financial software packages - Xero

· Must be Part / Fully Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
