Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead the development of charitable fundraising here at CHILYPEP and drive forward our new Fundraising Strategy.

We are looking for a dynamic, confident and competent Fundraising Manager who has a passion for making a change for children and young people and a flair for networking and partnership development to increase and diversify the income of our amazing Charity.

You will have knowledge, experience and skills in:

  • Fundraising methods and techniques.

  • The requirements of Trusts and Foundations fundraising

  • The financial sustainability agenda for the voluntary and community sector.

  • Charitable trust fundraising from research to securing six figure grants.

  • Securing income from high level Trusts and Foundations

  • Developing successful corporate partnerships and donor bases

  • Developing and supporting volunteer fundraisers

    You will have the ability to write complex applications, bids, reports and strategy papers and to translate complex information and adapt it to a variety of audiences and have excellent partnership working and networking skills.


  • With the ability to co-ordinate a number of fundraising projects simultaneously, you will have excellent written, oral, networking and influencing skills, and be confident and diplomatic with a commitment to the highest standards of relationship management and supporter care.

    With proven ability to work both in a team and on your own initiative to meet objectives and work to tight timescales and deadlines, you will have excellent organisational skills, with an ability to manage a complex workload.

    You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent, through experience) with very good analytical and strategic skills and be exceptionally self-motivated with a flexible approach to the role, due to the need to work from home as well as in our office bases at times. You will have a sound work ethic and commitment to personal and professional development and an understanding of, and demonstrable commitment to, Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discriminatory Practice.
