Full Job Description

In this fast-paced and varied role as Group Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and managing the services detailed in the contract, exceeding client, company and customer expectations.,

  • Ensuring team retention through building strong, positive relationships with internal teams, as well external providers and clients

  • Providing support, guidance and training opportunities to all line managers, identifying any training or development needs, whilst managing their performance through supervisions and appraisals

  • Ensuring our service and food offering is always of the highest standard to create an exceptional experience for all diners

  • Helping to create and deliver captivating sales presentations to potential new clients whilst finding new avenues for business

  • Strive for the highest levels of compliance for Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene

  • Managing and assisting in the mobilisation of new business wins

    Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for a highly motivated, adaptable person with a warm and welcoming demeanour and operational experience in managing large teams in multi-site operations preferably in the hospitality/catering industry along with the following:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to manage HR or performance related issues fairly and professionally

  • Experience in managing and compiling budgets alongside a strong overall understanding of business related finances

  • A strong knowledge of food and safety legislation alongside the ability to ensure team compliance in this area

  • A passion for food, you keep up to date with food trends and industry standards with a real understanding of what good service looks like.

    This role is:

  • 40 hours per week

  • 41 weeks per year (based around term-time)

  • £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
