HIAB Operator

We are seeking a skilled Hiab Operator to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating one of the companies hiab vehicles and delivering a range of loads to various locations across the country. This position requires a valid driver's license and experience with driving hiab vehicles. The position will also require an individual to have the occasional overnight stop out, night shift and weekend working shifts.

The contracted week is 40 hours minimum with any additional hours at the companies overtime rates. If the occasional night out is required, the company pays well above the RHA's set limit.

Any weekend working is paid at the overtime shift rate, even if the job is an hour.

Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs.
- Keep their company vehicle well maintained and clean as you will be designated your own vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of POD's.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Previous experience operating hiab cranes within the lifting industry.
- Class 2 licence is required but Class 1 is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
