Full Job Description

We are pleased to offer the position of a band 6 midwife within the maternity service in Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board, North Wales. The post holder will be based within the community team in Flint, Flintshire, North Wales. This post will include weekend working and also on call commitments., + Organises own workload for a specified group of patients (caseload)
+ Practice all aspects of community midwifery in line with local and national evidence based guidance as part of community team.
+ Provide 'on call' service to North Wales homebirth service and escalation support to the local Obstetric Unit.

The successful candidate will be able to show excellent clinical skills in every aspect of midwifery, and combine a caring attitude, interpersonal skills and good communication with patients and all members of the multidisciplinary team., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply., If you relish a challenge, have a passion to help others or simply fancy a fresh start, then Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales, has all the right ingredients.
