Full Job Description

  • Key member of the site clearance/maintenance field teams

  • Completing a range of vegetation management tasks for key contracts

  • Ensuring a high-quality service and effective delivery is always achieved

  • Strimming, use of chainsaw, chemical spraying, This role is outdoors, working in all weathers. You may be required to work away from home and work on weekends and evenings. It's a very manual job. The rewards are excellent.

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4 - 9) Essential, Countryside worker

    Level 2 (GCSE)

  • The course will be Countryside Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard

  • You will carry out your training on one of our sites and our depot which will be based around the Daventry area

  • Training will be once a week with visits from the training provider, We have around 90 permanent staff across the UK. We are one of the UK's leading landscaping, highway maintenance, fencing and vegetation management/maintenance contractors.

    £14,643.20

  • We offer a bonus per hour once probation has been passed. Also, over time is paid if worked outside of set hours.

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
    Minimum Wage Rates
  • Working week

  • Monday - Thursday: 7am - 5pm Friday: 7am - 4pm (Occasional weekends and nightshifts required).
    Total hours per week: 44, You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
