As a Lifting Equipment Engineer you'll be responsible for carrying out on-site inspection, testing, adjustment and maintenance of mechanical and electrical aspects of lifting and handling equipment. Maintaining and repairing equipment within the range, from Block Grabs and Hoists to Lanyards and Rescue Winches, along with a dedicated repair and inspection service.

You'll carry out fault finding procedures, recognise the defective items, conduct the necessary repairs effectively and restore the equipment to a safe working condition. You'll also have the capability, when designated, to organise, progress and carry out major installations and have responsibility for the day-to-day running of the workshop.

We are looking for candidates who are motivated and keen to learn about our specialist products and build their industry knowledge.

  • Experienced working within a testing environment

  • Experience of using heavy lifting gear or with a strong mechanical engineering background

  • Have good communication skills and experience of working within a customer site

  • Good time management skills

  • Driving licence

  • Be a strong ambassador for the company

  • LEEA Qualification would be advantageous
