Full Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to to join our hard working, and friendly marketing team. The purpose of the role is to provide marketing support to the marketing marketing team, to ensure the ongoing success of the marketing dept.

Duties include:

Customer Communication: Respond to incoming telephone and email queries promptly and professionally.

Assist in maintaining positive customer relationships through effective communication.

Provide administration support within the marketing department and the external sales team.

Database Management: Manage marketing mailing lists and ensure all customer address information is accurate and up to date within the Marketing department.

Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient handling of brochures and samples for all brands.

Creative Campaign Development:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative ideas for campaigns.

Work on collaborations with suppliers and customers to enhance marketing initiatives.

Help the Marketing team co-ordinate marketing materials across a wide range of media including print, web, email, video creation and social media

Collateral Management: Organize and manage all marketing collateral, including brochures and samples, to ensure availability and easy accessibility.

Liaise with the warehouse team to streamline processes for efficient collateral distribution.

Letter Writing and Mailing: Draft and help the Marketing team prepare professional letters for various marketing purposes.

Manage the mailing process, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of correspondence.

Event Management:

Assist in planning and executing marketing events, including coordination with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Manage logistics, timelines, and communication for successful events.

Welcome Packs: Create and assemble customer welcome packs to enhance the customer experience.

Returned Mail Management: Organize and handle returned mail, updating customer information as necessary.

Image Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of all marketing imagery, including updating and organizing all digital assets.

Experience in a Marketing or a similar administrative role.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
