Full Job Description

  • Collecting stock or goods from a collection point and ensuring that all customer orders are complete

  • Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matches the order in which the deliveries will be made

  • Planning the shortest and best routes to clients by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration

  • Using GPS navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on tim

  • Delivering products that are in good condition to customers on arrival

  • Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork

  • Updating route, mileage and delivery logs

  • Keeps accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensure all documentation is submitted to management on time

  • May have to lift heavy products or parcels

  • Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment

  • Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive

  • Communicates with customers by phone to update them of time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival

  • Maintains communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule

    Sierra CP Engineering are looking for a part time driver to assist the team in Stores. We are looking for someone who can do 3 days per week 18 hours per week six hours a day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday ideally BUT can agree alternative fixed days).


    • We have decided set days because being part time you can then plan the rest of your week accordingly.

    We are based on Sandys Road Malvern WR14 1JJ and the radius of collection/ drop points are approximately 30miles. There may be the odd occasion when this may be a little further. WE WILL IN THE SUMMER BE MOVING NEW LARGER PREMISES TO WORCESTER SIX WR4 0AD
