Full Job Description

Based either at Hesslewood Office Park (HU13) or enjoying hybrid working, you will enjoy great flexibility with your hours to suit you and the peak times of our payroll cycles.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will support in the preparation of the payroll data supplied from across our group of care homes and homecare offices:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support with the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislations.

  • Analyse payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies and help to resolve complex payroll issues.

  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data maintenance.

  • Support with payroll validations and gross to net checks.

  • Support with month end activities including running payroll reports, pension reporting and other 3^rd party reporting.

  • Develop the Payroll team by providing effective coaching and mentoring whilst taking responsibility for more complex payroll queries.

    The HICA Group are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Senior to support with our end-to-end payroll process for our 4 weekly and monthly paid employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll legislations, excellent analytical skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment., CIPP Qualification preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Senior or payroll experience of more than 3 years.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Strong payroll knowledge including auto enrolment and manual payroll calculations.

  • Proficiency in using payroll softwares such as Opera.

  • Highly computer literate in Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to help meet tight deadlines for monthly and 4 weekly pay cycles.

    Up to £29,000.00 per annum
