Primary Teaching Assistant

We have a position for a Primary Teaching Assistant to start immediately. We are looking for a dedicated passionate person who has experience of working wither with EYFS or KS1. The school has a large intake of young people with additional needs who require 1:1 and class support.The school is a friendly and dynamic environment with a supportive network of staff and senior leadership team. You will be offered support in the role and we will also offer SEND training.

• To work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.


• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs.


• Help develop a safe and nurturing environment for learning, also with classroom management and behavior guidance to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.


• Assist in school activities and events that encourage the holistic development of the pupils.
  
  A passion for working with young people at EYFS or KS1


• Passion for working with young people with Autism and other aditional needs.


• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.


• Basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum or KS1


• Relevant qualifications or willingness to work towards relevant qualifications is a plus.
