We are looking for a committed and dynamic Automotive Programme Leader to join Scarborough TEC. If you are passionate about ensuring that learners reach their full potential and want to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

This post will suit an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer with a background in Automotive service and repair. In this role, you will lead one of the Automotive Programmes, providing students with a dynamic Study Programme that will set them up ready for the world of work. This is a great opportunity to watch the learners develop throughout their course as you will also be responsible for all elements including, Tutorials and High Grades.

The Key responsibilities of this role are, creating Schemes of Work and delivering great Teaching and Learning to ensure that our Learners are provided with a positive experience., The TEC Partnership is committed to Prevent Duty, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and promoting British Values within the workplace. Ideally candidates will be fully qualified (minimum Level 3) and have relevant work/industrial experience within the Automotive industry as a Vehicle Technician. Those without teaching experience, but willing to train towards, are welcome to apply. It is also highly desirable that you hold (or be willing to work towards) the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and also desirable for you to also hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance (if old qualifications are held (e.g. A1 or V1) it is essential that you are willing to update to the new standards).
