Full Job Description

The role will be within the Assisted and Automated Driving Motion Control (AADMC) group in the Chassis and Motion Control Systems domain that forms a part of the Body/Chassis Engineering Department. The domain team develops control systems and delivers software design for existing and future Chassis, Electrical, ADAS Motion Control, and various new technologies and enhancing the driving experience and working towards the goal of autonomous driving.

The AADMC group follows agile methodology to deliver next generation ADAS motion control systems, specialised in the creation and deployment of ADAS lateral and longitudinal motion control. The systems engineering, control systems and software being done within the team cover a wide range of ADAS autonomy levels from 1 to 4.

The focus of the role is on project and program management to ensure that all systems engineering, functional safety, cyber security, control and software development, integration and testing activities are in line with the program delivery timings. The role offers to be the lead from AADMC group in the communication between the program and AADMC teams. This will contribute to ensure the delivery timing of AADMC is tracked, reported to program and engineering teams and engineering development is planned in accordance with the program delivery timing.

  • Experience of planning or project management within Software & Systems Engineering environment.


  • Systems engineering and systems development lifecycle knowledge.


  • Basic understanding of vehicle network communications, ECUs and electronics.


  • Experience of working within an Automotive OEM or large Tier 1 either as a system engineer or in a planning role that involves system and software development and delivery.


  • Knowledge of ASPICE, Functional Safety and Cyber Security processes


  • Experience with following software applications; IBM DOORS, RTC, Rhapsody. CATIA system engineering tools and MS Office tools
