PT Female Personal Assistant needed in Huntington York - Ref: YJMO / 236

The job:

You will be joining a small team supporting a physically disabled lady of 52, who lives in Huntington with her mother, to assist her to remain independent. Accompany to appointments.

The right person:

Have you got a caring, friendly, cheerful and outgoing nature? Have you got a good sense of humour? Previous experience is not a requirement as full training will be given. However it is essential that you are in reasonable health and able to assist with transfers into and out of a wheelchair. There will be hoisting involved and in-house training will be provided. You must have common sense, a willingness to learn and follow the care routines in place.

The hours:

10hrs a week: x2 5 hour days. There is flexibility for days and start times.

The shifts can be on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday - working days are open to negotiation and to be agreed with the employer.

Extra hours will be available to cover team holidays and sickness

The rates of pay and benefits

£11.44 per hour.

You will receive 5.6 weeks (pro rata) paid holidays each year and the opportunity for training relevant to your role.
