Religious Studies Teacher

justteachers is working with a Secondary School on the outskirts of Leeds to help them recruit a Religious Studies Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long term role that may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The school has been recently been awarded a 'Good' Ofsted grading and is firmly on a trajectory to become 'Outstanding' at the next inspection

Students are encouraged to embody the school's values which lead to positive attitudes, building character and helping them to develop into well rounded citizens, who are well prepared for their next steps in life.

You will need to demonstrate a good and up to date working knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies and be a confident practitioner. An ability to teach challenging, well-organised lessons across varying abilities is key to success in this role as is the ability to encourage and inspire learners.

The school are happy to hear from both ECTs and more experienced practitioners and candidates must have UK QTS to apply for this position.
