Senior Embedded Engineer

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Embedded Engineer. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of Linux embedded systems, with additional experience in bare metal and RTOS based systems as well.

This role will be office working at our Hunmanby headquarters.

Applicants must have a permanent right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain software for our embedded devices.



• Work on bug fixing and improving system performance.



• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.



• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  
  · Embedded Linux


· Proficiency in C programming

· Experience with building custom Linux images.

· Extensive experience in kernel and user space development on embedded Linux systems

· RTOS and bare metal programming experience using C

· Proficient in working with Arm Cortex M and A processors.

Desired skills:

· NXP Processors

· Acoustical knowledge

· Experience with .net C#

· DSP knowledge

· Yocto build systems.,
• Ideally a bachelor's degree related field, however candidates with demonstratable industry experience may be considered., Bachelor's (preferred)
