Senior Finance Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity in the Department of Finance for someone with a dedication to providing excellent customer service who will provide outstanding financial administration support across the breadth of our business.

You will be part of a Financial Management team within the Department of Finance, closely aligned to, reporting on a day to day basis to an Finance Business Partner within the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible and proactive team player to provide essential financial and purchasing support., You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent or possess equivalent qualifications or work experience. In this varied role, you will be supporting delivery of the Department of Finance's vision: to enable the achievement of research, innovation and education ambitions through collaboration and working together as One University. You will be working with a wide range of diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the service we provide to all is exceptional. As such, the ability to persuade and influence at all levels when dealing with challenging customer service situations is desirable.
