Full Job Description

  • Provide 1st- 3rd line technical support to a diverse array of clients via telephone, remote support and on-site visits

  • To take end-to-end ownership of problems from logging through to resolution

  • Be proactive when dealing with user issues, keeping the client updated on the status of their support query

  • To support and maintain all levels of appropriate documentation

  • New IT builds for customers across a wide range of technologies, including the installation of these on customer sites

  • Work with other engineers and management to deliver customer projects and complex tickets

  • Travel to customer sites, completing routine check-ups and escalation support within a 50-mile radius of the offices

    Good knowledge of Active Directory

  • Administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365

  • Exposure to Microsoft-based server operating systems with an emphasis on Windows Server 2012, 2016 & 2019

  • Virtualization - VMWare/Hyper-V

  • Understanding of Firewalls & Routers

    • This position has arisen due to internal growth and increased demand for an additional resource for their key customers. Based on the size of the business and variety of day-to-day responsibilities, there is a fantastic opportunity to get hand-on experience quickly in Infrastructure, network and security technologies.

    Package / further role details
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:00 pm.

  • Office and site-based - possibility of hybrid working if preferred

  • Must have your own vehicle for site work - 45p per mile paid for business mileage

  • Starting salary of up to £37,000 per annum

  • Lots of progression & learning are available with this business.

  • On-going training will be given in infrastructure, network and security technologies, working alongside the Technical Director
