As a Site Operative you will be an extremely valued member of our team and holding overall responsibility for ensuring high levels of cleanliness throughout our Whitley Bridge site. The successful candidate will also receive training allowing them to provide cover within our Production team. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 40 hours, however flexibility to cover weekends is required to meet the business needs.

The main duties of the role include:

  • Ensuring that cleanliness is maintained throughout the site at all times


  • Carry out Bin dipping and CCP checks as required


  • To ensure all areas are ready and suitable for audit inspection at any time


  • Ensure all correct equipment is used and maintained to the highest of standards


  • Ensure all correct colour coding is utilised in the correct areas


  • Ensure that all appropriate records and reports are completed in a timely fashion - especially the reporting of safety related issues


  • Provide cover within Production team, as and when required.

    Previous experience in a cleaning/hygiene role within food manufacturing


  • Good verbal / numerate skills.


  • Comfortable with working at heights


  • Able to work as part of a team and be self-motivated
