Skilled Food Operatives

Reach Recruitment is currently collaborating with a leading UK meat product manufacturer, seeking dedicated Skilled food operatives to join their team at a state-of-the-art facility in Hull. This dynamic role involves contributing to the production of a diverse range of flavourful coated chicken products, such as Kiev's, goujon's, and steaks. The ideal candidates will demonstrate reliability, flexibility, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic, with the potential for a permanent role.

These roles is to be responsible for the supervising and coordination of the production lines whilst Providing guidance and leadership to the team to deliver a smooth production of quality products whilst maintain the highest health and safety standards.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a team of production line workers.


• Ensure production goals and targets are met.


• Train new employees on assembly processes and procedures


• Monitor and maintain quality control standards.


• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.


• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.


• Ensuring compliance with all system-based processes and procedures within the department


• Ensure waste is kept to a minimum


• Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post.
  
  Have Level 2 Food Saftey


• Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures.


• Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting.


• Experience within the food industry
  
  £14.23 an hour - Temp to perm, Full-time, Temporary contract, Working Hours:


• 4on 4off (12 hour shifts)


• Days and Nights available


Pay:

• Production Process Controllers - £13.22


• Line leaders - £14.23
