Full Job Description

A rare opportunity for a full time Safeguarding Advisor is available within Leeds Community Healthcare (LCH). We are looking for a qualified Nurse/Allied Professional with enthusiasm, self-motivation and a desire to improve outcomes for vulnerable people., The role requires a dynamic, assertive, resilient, caring individual with an enquiring mind. Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Facilitating training, within the trust and wider partnership.

  • Having an awareness of the roles of key safeguarding partners citywide.

  • Provision of support, guidance, and advice to front-line practitioners.

  • Data collection and analysis - identifying themes and trends.

  • Escalation to Senior Advisor and Named Nurse.

    The successful candidate will work within the LCH safeguarding team across all aspects of safeguarding, demonstrating knowledge and experience of Safeguarding Adults, and effective communication skills. You will also have the skills and confidence to offer constructive, respectful challenge internally and to external partners.
