Full Job Description
- deliver 1-1 SaLT sessions with a small number of clients
- work 1-1 with children aged 2-12
- run therapy alongside Leapfrog Early Intervention Therapists and give them training to deliver your recommendations.
- some clients may be further afield and utilise a therapy assistant who you will guide and supervise
- Assess, take data and keep meticulous records
- work closely with parents and school/nursery staff
- Attend team workshops once per term for each child
- Be part of the Senior Team at Leapfrog Therapies and help inform best practice and services offered
You must have previous experience working with children with autism and special education needs
You must have experience assessing, delivering therapy and training for your recommendations
You must be open minded and willing to work with a variety other professionals
You must have experience with non-verbal children
You must be reliable and committed
You must have excellent communication skills
You must have right to work in the uk
You must have a clean dbs
You must have use of a car, for ease of getting to clients
You must be willing to attend additional training on progressive SaLT programs, such as Talk Tools.
