Full Job Description
- Ensuring compliance with the Company Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Policies reporting any potentially dangerous issues/faults to your direct Team Leader or Production Manager including but not limited to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- To ensure quality products are produced in the required quantity, on time, and at the lowest possible cost, in a manner in keeping with the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures of the company.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude to training and personal development.
- Monitor the performance of the process ensuring maximum output is always achieved.
- Carry out and document the correct quality control checks for each job performed, completing all production paperwork.
- Work as a team to ensure departmental targets, company targets and customer deadlines are achieved.
- Picking and packing Sales Orders in the Stores Dept.
- Picking parts and tube from locations in stores to be built into Hoses by the Assembly department.
- Packing parts and tube for export to our distributors and self-assemblers around the world
- Issuing parts and tube on Transform orders to other internal departments
- Weekly stock takes of parts and tube in Stores.
- Retrieving tube from racking using VNA articulated Forklift Trucks
- Use of Counterbalance Forklift Truck in the Cold Stores and yard
Education - GCSE Maths and English - Warehouse/Stores experience
- Computer literate
- Counterbalance fork lift truck
- VNA articulated fork lift truck
- Driving license
- Engineering background
- Stock control & Goods-in experience
