Full Job Description

Working within the Supply Chain team at IRCA York to create a Supply Plan to meet our customer requirements and to maintain optimum Inventory levels whilst delivering KPI's through stock at risk management. Commercialize new SKU's and maintain ERP system master data.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role are summarized below and are subject to change according to business needs:


  • Adhere to the IRCA Group Values and Objectives.
  • Proactively support and comply with the site Health & Safety and Food Safety policies & procedures.

  • Analyze plant demand, capacity, customer forecasts etc., to determine short to long term demand vs line capacity. Proactively work with the local SC and central Demand Planning teams to overcome issues, ensuring that demand is met and escalate any concerns to the SCM.

  • Coordinate as necessary between all internal stakeholders including Customer Care, RD&A, Transport Planning, 3PL's, Material Call-off, Production, Quality, Demand Planning etc., to ensure that our Customer Requested Delivery Dates are delivered OTIF.

  • Ensure the right stock is available at the right time with minimal levels of SAR/Aged stocks. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that action plans are in place to manage such stocks with minimal loss.

  • Support business KPI targets. i.e.: OTIF, Complaints, Inventory MLOR, Aged, etc.

  • Track the progress of NPD's and manage timelines, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure that expectations are managed and that customers receive NPD material when they need it.

  • Prepare reporting for Supply Chain Planning, Inventory, S&OP meetings and facilitate meetings as required.

  • Prepare SC reporting required for site engagement and tiered meeting structure, facilitating meetings as required.

  • Provide back-up for the Production Planning and Raw Material Coordinator roles as required.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including ongoing training, new systems, ways of working etc.

  • Proactively work towards agreed role specific & development goals and contribute to your regular 1-2-1 performance review meetings.

  • Ensure that new and existing products are set up correctly within our ERP system.

  • Proactively fault find and maintain all ERP Master Data relevant to your role.

    Supply Planning experience required.

  • Relevant Supply Chain qualification preferred i.e., IoSCM, CIPS.

  • Experience in working with an ERP system in a Food Manufacturing context an advantage.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills are essential, particularly Excel for this role.

  • Analytical, logical mind-set. Prepared to question and challenge the norm.

  • Has excellent time management and organizational skills, being able to priorities effectively.

  • Natural problem-solver, able to find fast solutions and rectify problems.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent team player, with proven ability to build positive working relationships across all levels.

  • Experience of working within a Food Manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
