Full Job Description

Purpose: To provide autonomous assistance to the people we support to fulfil their potential for independence, choice, inclusion and control.

Salary: £11.45 per hour.

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Sunday (part time hours considered)

We have openings for you to join us as a Support Worker at our Croft Community, a vibrant community for adults with learning and other disabilities and mental health conditions, situated in Malton, North Yorkshire. We support amazing people to realise their potential.

The Croft Community is a vibrant community located on the edge of the North Yorkshire market town of Malton. We have a real variety of places for people to live. Many community members live in large, medium and small shared houses or individual self-contained flats on Highfield Lane. Our opportunities combine individualised and shared support which enables people to access the community's broadest possible range of opportunities supported through true person-centred support.

Our opportunities include The Kingfisher Café. Kingfisher Café located in the heart of Malton, which is a social enterprise supporting people with learning disabilities to gain experience in a busy café environment. Craft Workshop where we make chocolates, decorative paper, candles, soaps and bath melts. Textile workshop, this workshop offers a range of traditional and modern craft activities and a market garden where we grow fruit, vegetables, and herbs which provide our community members and Kingfisher Café with delicious homegrown fresh produce.
