Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated teacher to join our vibrant English department. The post would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher of English. For experienced teachers aspiring for additional responsibility, an opportunity to lead on whole school reading, writing and oracy would be explored for the right candidate.

The English department is a large department of 12 teachers (including part time staff). The department also has 2 members of support staff attached to the department to help with a variety of intervention strategies including phonics, tutoring and targeted intervention.
