Akeley Wood Senior School is located across two historic sites in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside offering a stimulating setting for first class teaching and learning. We are currently seeking a Teacher of Humanities to join our World Studies Faculty from September 2024. To successfully teach Key Stage 3 Humanities, to teach KS4 (GCSE) & KS5 (A Level) History. For candidates with experience to include the teaching of Politics (KS5). You will be a motivated, well organised, and passionate in your subject to drive the continued success of the department.

An energetic, flexible and empathic attitude is required with a strong belief that every child can acquire strategies to ensure they fulfil their true potential. Personal integrity, honesty, energy, stamina, enthusiasm are all essential attributes.

To ensure that high standards of teaching and learning are delivered across all key stages (3-5).

To ensure that all pupils engage successfully in their learning and are able to make progress towards their agreed targets.
