Teaching Assistant

Our Enhanced Resource Provision comprises of 2-3 students per year group. Students access most of their mainstream lessons with support, alongside their peers. However, there are times during the week when they benefit from 1-1 or small group support in our ERP base to enable these students to make excellent progress.
This role requires a level of flexibility in order to meet the needs of the department, in addition to a varied TA timetable, there may also be requirement to liaise with staff, parents/carers and external professionals. Support diary management along with routine admin duties.

The Modern Foreign Languages Department at Uppingham Community College is comprised of 5 members of teaching staff, who are passionate about providing students with an outstanding language learning experience. French, German and Spanish are all taught at KS3 and KS4 with half of new Y7's studying French or Spanish/German (alternating years).
