Full Job Description

We are ideally looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated applicants with experience of working with young people (voluntary or paid), preferably in a school environment, who are passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding and varied role where you will need a positive and flexible approach to work.

33 ½ hours, per week, during term time plus training days.

TA2 - £18,678 - £19,310 p.a. (£23,500 - £24,294 p.a. pro-rata)

Working in a supportive role in a caring environment, you will support the educational, personal and social development of students with varied and sometimes multiple learning barriers and needs in the classroom, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the achievements of our young people (11-16 years) who need additional support and understanding.

You will be part of a large and supportive team of TAs in the Learning, Intervention and Nurture Centre (The LINC) which has a great reputation for supporting students with special educational needs, disabilities, anxiety, learning barriers and multiple and complex needs. Your support will enable students to access a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum and to be fully included in all aspects of school life and will support the school's vision of 'no child left behind.'
