Trainee Closed Tool Operator

No experience necessary as all training will be given, however, a good attitude, attendance record and an ability to learn quickly is crucial. Similar roles in manufacturing, production process or using machinery is beneficial.

Candidates must be willing to learn and have transport available. (Please note that Friday shift is an early start and some public transport may not be available from some areas. Candidates must be able to start at the stated time)

We are a manufacturer of glassfibre products for a range of clients. Due to increasing demand we are now seeking to employ additional Trainee Closed Mould Operators at our two sites in Castleford.

This is a trainee role, during which time you will have regular progress reviews. There is opportunity to progress onto higher paid Tier structures dependent on the progress you make and the speed in which you learn the role. Starting wage is from £12.70 per hour dependent on age.

This role is subject to a 3 month probationary period, after which an attendance bonus will be paid for the basic 38.75 hr week subject to certain criteria being met.

Hours of work:

8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday

6:00am - 1:15pm Friday

Candidates must be prepared to work overtime when available.

Minimum GCSE pass grades required.
