Visa Compliance Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Global Engagement Office for a Visa Compliance Officer. Reporting directly to the Visa Compliance Manager you will not only be responsible for undertaking day to day immigration compliance tasks within the University but also have an opportunity to work on larger projects shaping policy and procedure at the University.

This is a varied role which includes student facing activities, such as conducting credibility interviews, attending student engagement meetings and providing immigration advice.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills who is able to effectively convey complex information. In addition you will be a confident IT user who is familiar with using MS Office suite and confident in adapting to a variety of software packages.

You will be familiar with UKVI rules and guidance as they relate to universities and students in the UK. Experience of working in higher education, corporate immigration or other compliance related fields will be of benefit.

This role will be located between Leeds Trinity University campuses in Horsforth, Leeds and City Centre, Leeds. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.

The starting salary will be from £30,487 up to £36,024 per annum (pro rata) in Grade 6, depending on qualifications and experience
