Full Job Description

FT Studios is looking for a detail-oriented Webpage Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest quality in our webpage builds before they go live. This position is a 6-month FTC, with the term beginning from your start date.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of web and digital technologies and experience in testing digital products. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing webpages for errors, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and confirming that all design and content specifications are met.

Key duties

  • Conduct thorough QA tests on all website builds, identifying issues related to design, content, and functionality.

  • Ensure webpages are optimised for performance and are compatible across a range of browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

  • Work closely with the production, development and design teams to report and troubleshoot issues.

  • Validate that all elements on the webpage meet accessibility and SEO guidelines.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of QA processes and issues identified, including steps to reproduce and the status of fixes.

  • Assist in developing and implementing QA testing processes and best practices to enhance the quality of web builds.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and QA tools (BrowserStack, iOS Simulator, Chrome DevTools) and techniques.

    Proven experience in website quality assurance or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with web development processes and the ability to work closely with developers and designers.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of web standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG and APCA), and SEO principles.

  • A good understanding of Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager.

  • Experience with responsive and cross-browser testing.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills.
